WELCOME!

This space will contain the magnificent work of our Pre kinder children as they journey themselves into this new, creative learning experience. The integrated project is aimed at developing all the skills that students need to interact assertively in this complex environment. Math Science, English and Dance are taught through the lens of each trimester´s theme: Body, Land and City

As you will see, the Pre Kinder Projects' main goal is to guide the students' learning process so they can learn concepts and develop many important skills through imaginative play and interaction.

Have Fun!

What If: Pijama Party!

During the week the students were very excited to welcome the month of Halloween! We asked them to brainstorm about what they thought this month is about. They mentioned scary stories, haunted houses, and, of course,  candy! That's why for this What If we enjoyed an activity that joined together many of the ideas that the kids proposed. We did a Pijama Party where each student got the chance to tell a scary story, they watched a small part of the movie Mouse Hunt, they ate nice treats and Marshmellos, they searched for the haunted clues inside the house (there was a hidden moon, stars, many mice and masks), and they played games letter integration games.

"Los marshmellos me saben dulce!"
"El dorito es un triangle!"
"Los doritos me saben a Umami!"
"El platano es dulce!"
"Las papas me sabieron acido"
"Los marshmellos me sabieron masmelo"
"Si regamos la comida vienen los mouse!"

"Encontré la de Sun!"
"Tengo la de Sock y la de Sun"

What If - Picnic

In this What If the students experimented with their tongues and with their sense of taste. All the 5 taste groups where introduced: salty, sour, bitter, sweet and umami. Each student brought food that corresponded to one of the five taste groups and we shared them in a wonderful picnic. Some students agreed to be blind-folded in order to guess the secret taste!

Maria Victoria is loving the umami taste!

Each Pre Kinder course arranged a cozy spot for the activity.
