WELCOME!

This space will contain the magnificent work of our Pre kinder children as they journey themselves into this new, creative learning experience. The integrated project is aimed at developing all the skills that students need to interact assertively in this complex environment. Math Science, English and Dance are taught through the lens of each trimester´s theme: Body, Land and City

As you will see, the Pre Kinder Projects' main goal is to guide the students' learning process so they can learn concepts and develop many important skills through imaginative play and interaction.

Have Fun!

Our Class Constitution Tree is a visual, symbolic representation of the rules, routines, and habits that the students must internalize and practice along their experience through school. It's directly related to the essential question that we will focus throughout the whole school year, which is: Body, mind and spirit, division or integration?

The body is represented by the tree in these  ways:

 1) The tree trunk represents our own bodies; we have to sit properly in order for it to grow strong and straight. 2) The branches represent our arms and fingers; we have to raise our hands when we want to speak. 3)  The grass represents the evacuation line, which is essential to stay organized and safe. 4) The rain represents the natural resources that surround us; we have to take care of the water, and wash our hands regularly in order to stay clean and grow healthy.
The mind is represented by the tree in these different ways:

5) The leaves represent our friends who we have to respect by listening to them and taking care of them.
6)The apples represent the family who gives us love and who we remember all day.

The spirit is represented by the tree with:
7) The flowers, which remind us that we need to be thankful for our food, family, friends and school.
